Shawn Duench has over 10 years of experience as a Certified Canadian Pedorthist. As Lead Pedorthist at Healthy Feet KW Shawn specializes in the assessment of foot and lower limb mechanics, and designs and manufactures custom made orthotics on-site. Shawn has a BSc. in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario. He has worked in the field for the past 10 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
Shawn’s patient focused care is directed at improving your comfort and mobility through the use of orthotics and proper footwear. He handcrafts each pair of orthotics onsite with your needs in mind.
Away from Healthy Feet KW, Shawn enjoys golf, hockey, cooking and spending time with his wife and two kids.
With over 3 years of experience in private practice, Wendy is the newest member of our team at Healthy Feet KW! She is a licensed Chiropodist.
Wendy has been interested in medicine from a young age. She has always wanted to lend a helping hand and become a practitioner in the field of medicine. A former classmate in Chiropody suggested she apply to the program due to her caring attitude, effective communication skills and interest in anatomy and biomechanics. As a graduate of the program, her current podiatric interests include foot pain and sports injuries, foot surgeries, wound management, wart treatments, and diabetic foot care.
